Step 2 – Document Preparation

You’ll need to send us:

• Scanned passports of both spouses

• Georgian Marriage certificate (scanned copy)

• Obligatory: signed Power of Attorney (template provided by us)

We prepare all required legal paperwork, including official translations and notarizations, handled locally in Georgia.

Step 3 – Power of Attorney (POA)

If you’re applying remotely, you’ll need to sign a Power of Attorney in local notary office (in your current location)  that allows our lawyer to represent you.
You can notarize it in your country and send us to Georgia. 
Our team will guide you through the correct procedure based on your country - how to make POA.

Step 4 – Filing the Divorce Application

Once the documents are ready, our lawyer files your case in:

• The Civil Registry Office (for mutual divorces), or

• The Georgian Court (for contested or one-sided divorces).

We manage the full process, track case progress, and update you regularly.

Step 5 – Divorce Decision and Certificate

After approval, the authorities issue an official Georgian Divorce Certificate.
You’ll receive a digital copy immediately, and if needed, we can ship the apostilled/translated original to your address.
The Georgian divorce certificate is legally valid and recognized internationally.

Step 6 – Apostille and Translation (Optional)

If required by your home country, we can provide:

• Apostille legalization of your certificate
